Surrogate Court

Surrogate court documents deal with Estate and Guardianship matters. Most papers from this court require in-hand-only service to people. As one of the most stringent courts, there is no room for error in providing information with such papers. Our highly trained, detail oriented staff will handle your matter professionally. Please provide UPSI with as much information as possible (as in Matrimonials).

Citations require service of 10 days notice before court date, and if served outside the State of New York, 20 days notice is necessary and can be mailed. Affidavits of service must be filed no earlier than 3 business days before court date.
